Our clients are companies that develop voice, data, and video convergent products for both the service provider and enterprise markets.  All of our clients are located in the United States.  
 
At MapleWorks we strive to employ only the ‘best of the best’. Our team is the most experienced network communications design workforce in the Ottawa area in a wide variety of products and platforms.   
 
MapleWorks is currently looking for a Business Development Manager to build our relationship with our current installed base, as well as assist in closing new opportunities.  You would leverage your existing network of contacts to get our “foot in the door” of new opportunities.
 

Key Skills

  • Domain expertise in network communications/telecom
  • Domain expertise with software development
  • Consultative selling skills
  • Comfort with meeting with CEO/CTO/VP of Engineering
  • Ability to work both with the customer and the MapleWorks development staff to insure successful project execution
  • Sales forecast and planning experience

Experience in one or more of the following skills are an asset: 

  • Experience with software development processes
  • Experience working with product development teams
  • Experience with SMB market
  • Experience with venture community 

Education and Experience:  

BA/BS with a minimum of 5 years selling experience.  Must have experience with network communications technology developer companies. Ideally the candidate will have experience in a start-up telecom environment.
