Jim Pinard
Jim Pinard is an entrepreneur with several high-tech start-ups to his credit. Jim has 25 years of experience in the computer telephony and telecommunications industries. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, where he graduated cum laude. In 1987, Jim co-founded PIKA Technologies. His most recent venture is co-founding MapleWorks. Jim holds numerous electronics related patents and has been instrumental in delivering innovative technology to the computer telephony marketplace.
Jim has introduced groundbreaking products in CTI and voice processing. Jim has a number of international technology patents related to PBX and telephone set electronics. As a seasoned electronics engineer in the telecom field for over 25 years, Jim has specified, designed, and implemented hundreds of innovative commercial products and subsystems. He holds six patents.
