At Stewart Warner Corporation, Paul developed the first solid-state automotive instrumentation devices. These replaced the electro-mechanical devices and provide increased accuracy and reliability in the hostile automotive environments.

At Motorola, Paul introduced the first solid-state low band FM amplifier. This enabled a efficient, reliable, transmission of high powered FM signaling in the 20Mhz to 50 Mhz band with long-term device life.

At Fairchild, Paul developed the first combination in-circuit/functional electronic board testing system. This enabled a significantly more efficient production of defect free electronic products.

At Voicetek, Paul introduced a programmable voiced computer. This enabled a developer to implement any IVR or voicemail application. The key to this product is a drag and drop/ point and click application generator named Generationsä

At Aurora Systems, Paul was the co-inventor of U.S. patents 5,655,015; 5,642,410; and 5,655,014. These patents define the invention of the first CTI system that is telephone system independent and enables integration with any computer application. This invention, named FastCall, enables the functions of CTI (e.g., screen pops, intelligent call routing, etc.) at a third of the cost of traditional CTI systems.

At NexCen, Paul introduced Envoy which is an electronic Customer Relationship Management (eCRM) product that provided integration between web and call center customer services. The product uses a combination of CTI, CRM, and Enterprise Applications Integration (EAI) principals to enable a customer to get the same information from web self services as the customer would get from a call center agent.
